I can commiserate. A few years ago I took an application written in FPD26 and with minor changes, compiled it in Foxpro 2.6 for Unix. It ran great on SCO Unix.

>>>I can't remember where I read this but sometime back I read an article that there will be a version of Foxpro that can run under Linux. Has anyone else read anything on that ? There's been a product call Recital that's pretty much the same as older version of Fox. Anything new on the horizon ?

>>Sorry to disagree on the concept of running VFP on Linux itself. MS gives us a pretty good deal on VFP, namely no additional distribution licensing cost, beyond the need to have Windows. I am very happy about this, and am more interested in keeping them updating VFP than saving a few dollars. A few dollars I can pay, but I can't update VFP.
