The ideal solution would be to upgrade to VFP 9, which supports larger arrays natively.

An alternative is my Download #15699, which has support for much more than 65,000 elements, more than 2 dimensions, and only used elements take up space. It also has two major disadvantages: 1) Since you have to access through the class, native VFP-functions for arrays are not supported. 2) Access is slower than through a native array.
