Hmm sounds strange...
I just did run sample.prg with one of the FRX2Any’s report w/o any problem. Here is the code I used:

DO sample.prg with "c:\frx2any\samples\reports\reportcontents.frx", 3,,,'date="20050204"'

(For test purpose I’ve added ‘Date’ field into Reportcontents.dbf)
