Check your windows folder for a file called wininit.ini. It is possible some malware has your call to vfp.exe being redirected.

Also, go to computercops.biz and find the utility hijackthis ( all one word ) which is a very useful utility to find what has been done to your system by spyware etc. There are also very knowledgeable people on their messageboard who will probably know the answer to your problem.

Iyi sanslar ( sorry, no Turkish character set installed )

>Hi all,
>I cleared some trojans from my PC. And after that I get that error (file microsoft.prg does not exist) when I run VFP. I hate it. It also affect other programs (sample explorer seek for "http://files/Internet%20Explorer/iexplore.exe" page).

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
