Hi All.

i need to do a cursor to xml ... no problem except i dont know quite what the source table should contain... No problem i have been supplied a sample of the xml output that i am required to produce.. So i thought i could do a xmltocursor and see what the origianl table should look like.

My Problem ? I cannot get the xml to cursor to work at all

from help...

XMLTOCURSOR(XMLSource eExpression | cXMLFile [, cCursorName [, nFlags ]])


nFlags i have set to 4
cCursorName is blank so it will produce one with default name
cXMLFile is "c:\ralxml.xml" this is the source file with the xml data in it

What the heck to do i set XML Source eExpression to be

i have tried filetostr and used the memvar produced as this , but that fails
I have tried the actuial filename too ... no luck there
i have treid empty character mem var's ... and a few other things that i cant recall now...

So i turn to you my talented and helpful freinds for advice, help, an answer, or just a shove in the right direction
