I will be setting up a PC with Win XP Pro. I will install McAfee AV. The PC is behind LinkSys router connected to the Cable Modem.
I need software to protect this PC from Trojans and Spyware.
Can I rely on XP to do it by itself (I think it does have some sort of a firewall). Can you recommend something better?
I actually use Zone Alarm Pro 4.X on another computer and like it. But I had some problems with the newer version of ZA, 5.X so I am reluctant to go there on this new PC.
Anybody tried McAfee Firewall with WinXP Pro? Does it work well?
Any suggestions would be greately appreciated.
