Well it
does work when building an EXE.
if you are just running code from the command window you are just running the last fxp which will not have changed. FXPs really are an artifact of an editor setting (compile on save) or from running prgs from the command window. The project manager doesn't care one iota ahout them. Using the previously posted code fragments:
erase htest.fxp
build project htest recompile
? file( "htest.fxp" )
It's not that hard to write a project hook and recompile each prg that contains a #include that has a newer timestamp than the fxp.
