Ah now, you see, there's another example of bad techo-show. I could never figure out why, when piloting a shuttle craft, they'd have to make several typing motions on an unlabelled, touch screen, to avoid an alien attack when, as any jet pilot would tell you, a quick flick of the wrist on a joystick is a LOT faster and efficient.
