Okay, I need to be able to manipulate the current browser window. I would like to turn off the menubar and toolbar.
I can use javascript to open a new window and turn off what I need to. Unfortunately, the calling window stays open. I can use javascript to close the window with window.close, but the user is prompted if it is okay to close the window. I need to stop the confirmation dialog. If I can do this, my problem is solved.
I would rather be able use the same javascript script manipulate the javascript. I would think that I can add the window.toolbar=0 or something like that in the HEAD section of the HTML code.
Ideas?
