Yeah, that's what I've heard too, but only sort of in "rumor fashion." I feel pretty comfortable with MPF doing a good, reliable job of protection (after about a year of use now), so I think I'll try disabling the XP wall too. The only caveat I can think of at all, is to check your non-XP wall regularly, to be sure it's fully operational. But I have yet to see any problems with MPF.
