I would like to have both visual and text forms convertable from one to the other at any time. The visual tools give a handy organization. The interface becomes cumbersome when global editing operations are done. Try renaming a property in a visual class and all methods that access the property. I would like VFP's interface mapped to a single text format class declaration. This would be similar to Borland's technique for Delphi and C++ Builder. When a change is made by hand to the text format class declaration, the text is parsed and the property list control is updated to reflect the changes.
