MM.Net 1.3 Visual Studio .NET 2003

I have created a simple test winforms app using the quick start as a guide line. There were 2 things i noticed when i ran the app. 1 has been fixed the other has not.

problem 1. When I instantiated by "maintenance" form, the buttons were all blank. I could maximize then restore and the text would return to the buttons. I created a app.exe.manifest file and that problem was fixed so I guess it has something to do with WinXP.

The 2nd problem is when I click the delete button to delete a record. The confirmation dialog is entirely void of text. I do not know what to do to get the text to appear.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

thanks
