I would compare this to the 3rd parties who are posting and making public OS and Internet browser (etc.) security flaws. This kind of action makes manufactures respond much faster and make fixes. Every ones knows that (almost) all softwares has their bugs and flaws and seems that above action is even accepted by the manufactures as it finally servers their goal to make their customer more happy and potential customers more trusting to their products (make more profit).

Think if someone knows an OS hole to take over every PC he/she wants and the OS/browser manufacture isn't interested. Do you rather see this happening or do you make it public to force manufacturer act with a fix? I do understand ReFox users who says NO do not make it public because they are afraid of their codes BUT - yes no one knows what is yours technique but it's only for now. But as it is now public knowledge that there is a "technique" some others will invent it too!!

As you have pointed that you hasn't got any respond from ReFox, I think that you have to make it as above (3rd party <-> OS or browser etc.) and make it somehow public. Finally it would be benefical action to ReFox and the users too.
