>I put a spinner on the form and added a routine to create blank records to compensate for missing labels on the first sheet. It created one blank record OK, but when I closed the form the blank record was still there. In the DE cursor properties the BufferMode Override=1. Any Ideas why it doesn't release the Cursor?

It looks like I'd have to build a temporary Cursor with only the fields needed for the labels. Unfortunately that would cause problems with a Filtering form used thru-out this system.

My idea was to create the blank records in a cursor, without any indices - just for the report.

For example, if the user says he needs 5 empty records, create a cursor that starts with 5 empty records, followed by the "valid" data.
