I have an Excel sheet with several columns of dates.

When I import the file into VFP (or save as DBF) the dates are converted to a number.

The dates do not appear to be julian date because 04/30/99 translates to 36297

If you do ? sys(10,36297) it converts to a blank date.

? sys(1) gives a date number of 2453439 for today.

How can I convert 36297 to 04/30/99 ?
