Yes, VFP as the DML/navigational language there. However, in many C/S apps, you don't really need that. I grant you that when you do need it - it is nice to have and VFP has the advantage here. However, ADO uses the fox engine and it can be hosted by many applications. And.. record by record manipulation can be accomplished.
