Hello Mark,

I've finally got around to testing using vcx-based CAs in a form DE.

>In the DE, right-click and select the Builder... option. Click on the second tab, "2. Cursors" and click the Add... button. Find the VCX with your CAs, then select the CA from the VCX you wish to add. Edit the Name and Alias properties in the builder if needed. Add other CAs as needed then close the builder.

I followed your instructions above, but I am having problems with the field listing. The SQLCmd property of the CA is SELECT * FROM Customers WHERE cSurname='SMITH', yet when I add the CA to the DE using the builder, I can only see field f1 - the CursorSchema property still has the value 'f1 c(10)'. How can I get the field list to be the same as my SELECT... field list (ie. all fields in the Customer table)?

Any help would be appreciated.

Alan
