Hi all,
This may not be the most appropriate category so I apologize for that, but I have a situation where the click of a button enables a timer to animate a control. Under certain conditions, a remote query will be executing during the animation. Since the app isn't multi-threaded, the timer doesn't fire while the remote query is executing thus defeating the effect I'm trying to acheive. So, since BINDEVENTS() now lets us BIND to Windows messages, I thought I could tie into a system timer for my animation.
So, are there any system timers available that I could BIND to?
If not, is there a way I can create a system timer to BIND to?
If not (and this is why this message is in this category), I figured I should be able to make a COM object in C# to be used from VFP to BIND to?
Any thoughts or suggestions welcome.
TIA,
Chad
