The ExecScript() command you suggested did get results, and I think I can get it working ... but ....
A very strange thing happens when I pass the cursor (recordset) back to ADO. It is not the same data that is in the cursor. It changes some of the fields in rather weird ways. The data I get back is valid data, but it is not the data in the cursor. It is a composite of data from fields in tables I include in the FROM clause of the SQL command that builds the cursor.
And yes the cursor is correct. When I run the same stored procedure in VFP, the cursor is OK. But when I pass that very same cursor to ADO, it gets modified in the way I mentioned above ....
I'm still chewing on it though.
