Thanks for the further description... now I get it. Yeah, we've never tried to set up 2 different projects in the same directory. I wonder if you may find other problems down the road with that configuration (metadbc, metadata, appincl all may be issues... and that's just off the top of my head) or you'll end up jumping through flaming hoops and subclassing way too many objects just to avoid creating separate directory structures for each project, which is what I suggest.

BTW, we have a few separated projects as I've described that share libraries... we've set that up in Visual Source Safe and it seems to work just fine.
