I need to send an email message from an ASP.NET page to a text pager.
First, for a test, I sent a message from Outlook to the text pager email address (each pager # has a corresponging email, e.g.
555@amcomdb1.greenhosp.org). No problem at all. The message sent from Outlook gets to the text pager very nicely.
Then I tried to send the email from ASP.NET page, using class MailMessage(). But the message gets to the text pager with a lot of "extra text". For example, I sent a test message "This is a test message 1" and the message goes to the text pager as the following:
thread-index: AcUkIeOgabyxJEF6RY6MgbauW+F01== Content-Class:urn:
content classes:message X-MimeOle: Produced by Microsoft MimeOle
V6.00.2800.1106 This is a test message 1
Can anybody suggest why the ASP.NET-generated email has all the "extra" text before the actual message?
Thank you.
