I wouldn't expect it will solve all issues like this. Visual Studio and the .NET platform is and will remain the flagship strategic developer tool at Microsoft and what is promoted in the field to cusotmers and IT managers. The effort around VFP is to help educate field employees about the latest news around VFP 9.0 so they can speak to customers and companies properly who inquire about it. Internal education is not the same as mass advertising and marketing. But while I saw all this, there is some industry news coming out next week on VFP 9.0 which does target IT managers and journalists world-wide - stay tuned.
