That was exactly what I needed to know, even though it is depressing. The reason for not using TCPIP is that I know of very few administrators that will open sql server ports on a firewall so I need to use port 80. I guess I'll have to wait until Kevin builds remoting in to the product. I do not have the resources to devote to implementing a new data access class.
