I think you are right, that the problem is with the "receiving end" software. Because when I email from .NET to myself, there is no problem. And I didn't realize that the .NET generates the Headers with all that text. This explains why the email sent from Outlook does not have the problem. I will ask on ASP.NET forum to see if there might be someone who know of a way to suppress the Header.
