>I can find at the MS VFP home page where they officially say that Windows 2000 SP 3 is the minimum OS supported for the developer version of VFP9, but for the life of me I can't find the officially stated minimum OS for run-time only of VFP9.

>I did Google something quoting Randy Brown saying that the minimum would be the same as VFP8, but now that VFP8 is no longer shown on the Microsoft VFP homepage I'm stuck guessing and my IT people need to know.

From VFP9 Readme.htm:
1.1. System Requirements
...
· Operating System: Developing applications with Visual FoxPro 9.0 is only supported on Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 and later, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.
You can create and distribute run-time applications for Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or later, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.

>Also, here's another gripe: IMO, the HELP on VFP should include which version a new command or function was added. And it would be nice to say which verion had which enhancements to existing commands. And worse, is the HELP (or complete lack thereof) for deprecated commands and functions. It makes it real hard to convert an old FoxPro app when you can't find help on the old commands.

I can email you help file for FPW 2.6a (< 2MB in ZIPed form) if you provide email address.
