No, I didn't say I use RVs and huge data w/o a problem, I said ODBC serves well. I don't use RVs but SPTs (and/or direct nonquery commands, stored procs and UDF) and didn't have any problem. Backend data huge but you don't request the whole data (sometimes might get over VFP limits). Maybe you're not using parametric views?
If you change to ADO cursors rewrite is a lot. However upgrading to VFP8,9 and using CA VFP would handle for you.

>I can change the version to VFP 8 or 9. But, you use ODBC and RV's in applications with huge user and data loads with no problem? I checked carefully my app, looking for possible optimizatios but mi problem is random. The computer just freezes at any time (sometimes 5-10 times a day, without giving me errors. I have the latest SPs , for VFP and the OS. Have you experienced something similar?
>Also, supposing that I change my voewf for ADO cursors......what would be the amount of rewrite neccesary?

>>If you put RV and SPT aside, you can use OLEDB. In VFP6 you'd need ADO then. Starting with VFP8, OLEDB is supported through CursorAdapter.
