>Does VFP keep a backup of a FORM while in design mode, such as .bak for prg files. For some reason my computer keeps rebooting, once in a while since the last few days. As a result the FORM under developement is completely corrupted. Does VFP leave any hope.

I think that no backup is made. I don't think you can solve your immediate problem, if you don't have a backup; to avoid future problems, you should make regular backups. A source control solution would also help. For example, Perforce (www.perforce.com) is free if you use it only for 1-2 developers (and quite expensive for larger teams).

For backup purposes, note that each form consists of two files, for example, Form1.scx and Form1.sct. Something similar happens with class libraries, reports and menus. The database container consists of three files, while tables can contain up to three files, depending on the options used.
