yeah I did that and deleted all normal.dot files: no change!
Then I repaired MS Office:no change!
I uninstalled MS Office and installed from scratch;
The error is still there
Symantic antivirus scan does not find any critters whatsoever.

I guess unless somebosy has an idea, I will have to format etc.....
