You must have missed the detailed UT discussion on this point. At present a local data collection in dotNET is memory-based and can bring an app to its knees by hogging memory, unlike a VFP local cursor that spans efficiently to disk as required. This is the "local data facility" that MS has committed to add to dotNET, not cursors and native dbfs if that is what you thought was meant.
