I'm not suggesting that it's not a fair comparison. Just looking over the chart of features side-by-side, anyone could come to the same conclusions as the author. I find it hard to imagine that anyone could think MySQL is better when it does not support SPs, so I pretty much agree with Rod's conclusions, as you do.
