I once worked with someone that while providing software support to one of our customers, the customer had asked him why he had to do something a specific way (it had to do with keystrokes and getting the desired result in the product) and he replied 'What, do you think there are little green gremlins in your computer that will do it for you?' The customer complained and got so upset that the technician was fired that same day. I have tried very hard not to use the term 'gremlins' since! :o)

>>This may well be an undocumented feature. In any case it does not give you a good feeling.
>>
>>It does remind me of the Microsoft Service Center.
>>
>>Caller: “I have a problem with a Microsoft product running Windows".
>>Service Tech: “Did you reboot the system”!
>>
>>How many times have I heard that over the last 20 years? The sad thing is that it often “cures” an immediate problem. I say sad because to me such behavior is not acceptable. It is like saying, “Our product has problems and we are not going to fix it”!
>>
>>We often have “strange problems” within our development group, which I will not go into with specific cases. However, let me say that we do very advanced development and have an extremely talented group of programmers! All too often we will write some code for an existing or new system and it will not work, as it should. We then reboot the development computer and all is well! The alternative is to chase your tail or pull out your hair.
>>
>>Having a project disappear is more than frightening! :)
>>
>>TGIF and your problem was resolved. Withoug resolution your weekend would not be that much fun!
>
>You can say that again! ;-) I guess I'll just chalk it up to gremlins and not worry about it.
