One more question.
the files i need to open are flagged as readonly. Can I avoide words dialog asking if I want to use it read only etc...

I already pass .t. as the 3rd argument to the OPEN method.
and i have a oWord.DisplayAlerts=0 statement but it still comes up with the dialog
