>Trying to add an archive function to our vfp 7 application. My trouble occurs when I attempt to USE the original table (e.g., c:\AppName\data\TableName) and then USE the table created in the archive directory (on a network drive), of the same name (e.g., s:\Archive\TableName).

Both mapped drive and UNC work for me. Probably you're missing something else.
