I must be totally dense.... Don't these two comments contradict themselves?

So I'll ask a question... specifically what's so crappy about them ?

Please enlighten the group to the large failings....

We all know that they are memory resident so the fact that they don't write to temporary disk files doesn't count.

I know that I know of a couple of limitations but I would like to hear your criteria for judging ADO.NET as crap...
