I think it would take a psychologist to analyze why people blog and in some cases use the Internet to express himself/herself. Then with 1000 psychologist you would have 1000 different opinions! :)

Why would anyone wish to express what is within his/her mind for others to be aware? It could be part of our education system that socialization is of greater importance than academic achievement. Acceptance might be the motivation for some people. Perhaps people realize that the Internet allows him/her to express inner feelings. It sure seems like a way to revel thoughts that one should keep to oneself.

With information overflow (an over abundance of information made available to us) comes the difficulty of finding true value in the offerings of others. The Internet allows one to have a certain power to express an opinion and be heard around the world. With that comes a responsibility to yourself and others. Responsibility seems to be a word that many do not understand by observing his/her actions.
