>>VFP 9.0 story made it on http://infoworld.com home page in the breaking news section, top story In Brief at http://www.infoworld.com/article/05/03/14/HNbriefs119_1.html. This did not happen for the release of VFP 7.0 or VFP 8.o release.

What you can't see is that there is an internal MSW home page within the Microsoft network for employees which many people here keep as their home page or check often. One of the 3 top stories on that internal Microsoft home page is VFP 9.0 and a link to the PressPass article, which will help give exposure to the news on VFP 9.0 to Microsoft employees world-wide. I will be sending a direct email to all Microsoft developer evangelists in the field with more information and guidance on VFP 9.0.
