That way, when you are logged on, you know you are logged on as administrator. I seem to remember operating systems from the past used to ask for a password and if you didn't enter it, it could be set up so that it allowed you on the computer, but only as a guest. Something like that might be set up on your PC.

I will try the above suggestion. That is, I will create an account/user on one of the computers and see if I can login from another using this name/password.
