The new view designer in the later versions of VFP should fix the problem your having...
Or you can use EView (located here in the downloads section)...
Or you can hand-code your views...
I've done things like this in the past & I've never had any problems, however I've been told it's not a good idea to have more than one updateable table in a view.....(I see Cetin has already pointed this out)
