For example, VFP attempts to use the GetLongPathName function which is not available on Windows 95 and Windows NT 4. VFP 8 and VFP 9 both didn't officially support these platforms, but with VFP 8 you could at least launch VFP at your own risk. With VFP 9 this isn't possible; a limitation you are not allowed to work around.
