Hi Jim,

have you added the detail band header and footer? If you do (doubleclick on the Detail band grey bar and select associated header/footer) then you can put the counts in the footer of each band and they should be fine.



>Just when I thought I had the new detail bands in VFP9 reports figured out, I can't seem to do sums of a field any longer as it adds itself for each child record in detail band 2 and showing a line number for each item in the controlling detail band 1 now counts all the child records in detail band 2 so my record count goes 1,9,26,32 etc. What am I missing?
