From my recollection, the DDE proc, I posted got around the sendscreen problem and worked its way through the table of receiptitants without showing the send screen.
DDEPOKE(FaxChan,"sendfax",'showsendscreen("0")') && 1 for show screen
was probaly the command.

OLE would be much more modern but DDE got the job done in a hurry. I got faxing pretty weel from the winfax help screen.
