I think you'll have to look at some dBase books or VFP 5 books that may have a DDE QP sample and convert it to a COM. The last QP I remember seeing was 16bit and I have no knowledge of how an automation would work.

Just try oQP=createobject("QuatroPro.Application") and see where it goes from there!

If OLE becomes impossible and you can standardize the sheets you can also use an autostart macro, in lieu of COM or DDE (OLE) to "read" in your VFP data and parse it.
