>I am developing a VFP executable that I am putting on a network. The people who are using the executable have Word on their computer but not VFP. When they run the VFP executable it creates a database that I am merging with MS Word. Since they do not have OLE setup for Foxpro I cannot do the Word merge. What do I need to do to setup OLE on their PC so they can recognize Foxpro databases?

I couldn't understand why they would need OLE setup. Isn't it VFP app calling word and word installed ? I did the same and sent only my.exe. They work quite well.

I think I inadvertently used the wrong term. I should have said ODBC instead of OLE. When I go into word and create a merge for it then asks for the merge data file. I click on the button for the choices and on their PC Foxpro Database does not come up. But on my PC (that has Foxpro installed) it does. Why would that be?
