Damning. I want to see competition so the pricing will keep coming down. If SQL Server can not compete on that level, then Oracle's main competition will be DB2. IMO, DB2 does not scare Oracle at all. Oracle also has a tremendous product in HTML DB that works with 9i and 10g to create web application using your browser as the IDE.
