I am trying to print on a passbook printer attached to a com port with a Generic/Text only driver. While on the win2k machine the
!type vldt.txt > com1:
works fine, but when I installed it on the win95 machine, a "file creation error" appears brieftly on the command prompt.
The vldt.txt was created so there is no problem with "creating the file".
I tried
!type vldt.txt > com1.dos && write fault error
copy file vldt.txt to com1.dos && cannot create file
I need to print the text file using ! command since I inserted esc codes in the file.
