Python Benevolent Dictator for Life (BDFL) is one of those "genious" brains that this industry has produced along with alan kay, linus torvald and a few others.

He has been able to start up a strong "open source" "open-minded" community that clearly gathers some of the best brains in the IT tech world.

Guido remains an approchable person. If you wish the definitive tech answer on the subject, just take the chance to talk to him - in Dutch, a language he possibly still talk after all those years abroad - at one of the Europython meetings (last gathering was in Charleroi - next door for you)
