Actually, I did because my boss is in love with Pervasive.SQL because he likes the fact that it doesn't need a DBA (me.) that and the fact he refuses to use anything other than Novell NetWare for anything. But I digress. I read a press release that said Pervasive is going to support PostgreSQL. I find this interesting as Pervasive markets Pervasive.SQL as the greatest database on the planet. The only thing I can think of as to why they would throw support behind Postgre is because Postgre is a 64-bit database and Pervasive.SQL is not. Now, is this because Pervasive.SQL cannot be made into a 64-bit database or perhaps because it would take to long to convert to one?
Or Pervasive felt they needed to get into the 64-bit market quickly. Your thoughts?
>Every day I like my PostgreSQL databases even more. Did you know that they can be used in Windows starting with this version? (without CygWin)
