Rolin,

Assuming you are talking about MS SQL Server.

Select the database in Enterprise Manager
rightclick, View Taskpad
hover the mouse over the button beside Space Allocated
select Shrink Database
click the Files... button
select the log file from the top cbo
Select Compress pages and then truncae free space from te file
click ok

this should shrink it all the way back to a minimal size.

>The log file of a databawe is huge, and I need to clear is asap. I have looked in BOL, and do not find it. I am in a time crunch and would appriciate any help.
