I have a vfp table with many fields including an auto-inc field. There are no records in this table.

If I attempt to APPEND FROM another vfp table with the exact same structure, I get an error "Field myauto-inc is read-only". I know I can specify the fields to append, but is there another way to append all fields except the auto-inc field?
