They are busines. Monopoly is only one of organization type of business units.
There are a lot of requirements for backward compatibility of frameworks and also compatibility with OS which is not longer supported by MS. Even in Germany there are requirements newest VFP projects to work with Win98 or NT.
We are in service business and our customers set the rules. We only try to satisfy them. That was the reason many companies to work with TERES :-)
